Hilary Fung

is a designer, developer and educator. She has worked as an editor and product manager for The San Francisco Chronicle and Quartz, and she has designed graphics and news apps for ProPublica, NPR, The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, HuffPost and The Seattle Times. Hilary teaches at Northwestern University in San Francisco and has taught at The Lede Program at Columbia University, The New School and The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. She lives in Oakland, California.
